Dear Colleagues,

It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to KSCASI MidCON 2026, the 9th Mid-Year Conference of the Karnataka State Chapter, Association of Surgeons of India, hosted by ASI South Kanara City Branch, in association with K.V.G. Medical College & Hospital, Sullia.

This prestigious mid-state conference is expected to bring together over 400 delegates, featuring a rich academic program with 100+ paper presentations and 150+ poster presentations. Continuing our academic innovation, we are proud to host the Trauma Paper Presentation session, an initiative that began at KSCASI MidCON 2025.

We extend a warm invitation to postgraduate students and young surgeons to actively participate, present their research, and engage in meaningful academic exchange. We also welcome senior surgeons and faculty to share their experience, mentor budding surgeons, and enrich the scientific deliberations.

About the Venue

K.V.G. Medical College & Hospital, located at Kurunjibhag, Sullia, Dakshina Kannada, is a reputed institution founded in 2002 by Late Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda under the Academy of Liberal Educationยฎ. Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission, the institution is committed to delivering quality medical education and holistic healthcare, particularly serving rural communities.

With strong academic infrastructure, experienced faculty, and a focus on interactive learning, KVGMCH continues to nurture excellence in medical sciences.

About KVG Medical College & Hospital

KVG Medical College & Hospital is located at Kurunjibhag, Sullia. Sullia is a city in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka State. It is the 3rd largest and fast growing city of Dakshina Kannada District. Late Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Founder President of the Academy of Liberal Education (R), Sullia, D.K., founded KVG Medical College & Hospital in 2002 with the goal of developing world-class professionals in the specialized field of Medical Sciences. The Institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and is accredited by the National Medical Commission in New Delhi (erstwhile MCI). KVGMCH has 150 undergraduate seats and 81 postgraduate seats available across all departments. It is rapidly developing in order to expand both teaching and hospital services. It is a committed organization working to enhance people's lives by providing holistic health care, particularly in rural areas.

We have dedicated faculty members with the necessary qualifications to achieve both academic and professional goals. We maintain cutting-edge learning tools that serve as a key springboard for students to make significant academic progress.
